We are looking for Volunteers to join us here at the OBVFR. Being a part of our rescue force can be a life-changing experience, not only for yourself but for the others you help in the community and in all aspects of the organization such as being a first responder, a vehicle operator, assisting in search and rescue, traffic control in an emergency, vehicle maintenance, help with administrative tasks, conducting community education and helping with community events, planning, and media are all very important jobs waiting for you! Your talent is greatly needed and appreciated. Making friends is a bonus and a great reason in itself to join up. You will learn new skills, help your neighbors, and you will be a part of a very unique and wonderful group of people. Being a volunteer firefighter gives volunteers the opportunity to give back, meaning in life, and provides challenges to learn something new at any age! Bottom line, we need you!
